Please pray

I have been asked to pray for 3 kiddos this week. And yes I know this is a week late. But if you could please pray for Lovensky, he currently resides with his mother in a very poor area of PAP. His mother can no longer care for him and she has made an adoption plan. He was born in November 2003 and has some yet undetermined special needs. Also pray for Jimmy he was born in September 1998 and has a captivating smile. Jimmy is eager to be adopted and is old enough to understand what adoption means. Please join me in praying for these Haitian Angels

Also we need to pray for William , he is 8 years old and really needs to find his forever family. He is happy and healthy and has a wonderful grin.

Please join me in praying for these beautiful children

Adoption prayers week of 4/1 - 4/7

This week we still need to concentrate on Darling Marcello, you can read both prayer requests here and here...

But we also need to pray for a beautiful little girl named Landi, here is what Ann at UAHH had to say...

She is from Haiti and I was told she is a doll. She did have some medical issues when she was first admitted to the oprhanage, but she does not anymore. She is a little sponge and craves attention. She has waited way to long for a family. The orphanage has asked us to make her a priority.

Please join me in praying this beautiful little girl's forever family finds her.

Adoption Prayer... by request

I got an email from Rachel asking for some prayers for Spencer, here is what she wrote...

Spencer is a delightful, happy little boy from Liberia, West Africa. In 2003, his mother was very ill and was admitted to Firestone Hospital. She brought her infant boy, Spencer, with her because there was no one else to care for him. She passed away when he was only one month old. Without any social services available in Liberia at the time, the Hospital didn't know what to do with him, so they have raised him on the Pediatric Ward since the time of his mother's death. In the spring of 2006, the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare ordered the Hospital to release Spencer to Acres of Hope, a humanitarian organization that facilitates adoptions. At that time Aaron and Rachel Wilson applied to adopt from Acres of Hope and were matched with Spencer in July. However, the Hospital decided to neglect the order from the Ministry, saying they required further "proof" that Spencer is truly an orphan. The Acres of Hope staff have been working to legalize Spencer's orphan status since then, running into walls with each new strategy. Please pray for a breakthrough in Spencer's case, for creativity and perseverance for the Acres of Hope staff, for the source of the difficulty to be unveiled and dealt with, and for him to be freed to be adopted. Please also pray for blessings upon the nurses who care for and love Spencer.

Please join me in Praying for darling Spencer and the Wilson family.

Please pray for Russian Adoptions

Got this request from Debbie over at Family Reunion . Here is her request.

The initial deadline has passed for adoption agencies to be accredited with the Russian government and not 1 has received their accreditation yet. The Russian government is requesting more paperwork from the agencies. Please pray for a speedy turn around on this new paperwork and that this be the final step to receiving re-accreditation. Most agencies have been without accreditation for 10-12 months and during this time adoptions are being stopped and children are not being adopted (other than in-country).

Please join me in praying for the Russian Accreditation.
